Please be aware that California birth certificates are taking a long time to process. On 12-1-03 the Department of Vital Records stopped accepting walk in birth certificate requests from the general public because of financial problems. We are able to submit requests to their office and we are given special treatment, our average process times are (2-9 Emergency) business days. Until further notice these process times will be in effect.

District of Columbia Washington D.C. - Process Times: 3-5 Business Days State Fee is $56.95 which includes overnight shipping once issued.
Additional Requirements: copy of government issued ID. If you do not have a copy of your ID please make a copy of your social security card and a current utility bill that has the same address as your credit cards' billing address.

Indiana state law requires someone sign for the birth certificate when it is delivered by an overnight courier service. You cannot leave a signed letter on your door asking the overnight courier to leave the package.

Additional Requirements: We must have the full social security number of the applicant (if the applicant is a child then it will be one of the parents SS #) on our order form, this is a state requirement. We can only ship the birth certificate to the credit card billing address (where you get your bill every month), this is a Kansas state law.

Louisiana We are able to obtain Louisiana Birth Certificates. No matter what you have heard from other sources, yes we are able to obtain birth certificates. All of the information below is accurate.

We prefer to have the ink notary stamp instead of the embossed one. If you get the embossed notary stamp you MUST shade over it with a pencil BEFORE faxing as we cannot read the notary stamp if it is unshaded. If you get the ink stamp seal you do not need to shade over it. We MUST have a copy of the applicants' or parents drivers license.

The address on this ID must match the shipping address on the following form. If your name is different from your birth name because of marriage you MUST provide a copy of your marriage license. This is a New Jersey state requirement.
We cannot obtain your birth certificate from New Jersey if you were adopted or born in a military hospital.

New York City - Average Processing Time: 5-10 Business Days for regular processing. City fee is $33.00 which includes overnight shipping to you. Additional copies are $15 each.
Please note: Records from 1941 and before can take 5-10 business days to process.
